I wanted to let you know I bought a card of yours for my Dad's birthday. It was a view of Challaborough at dusk. My Dad was delighted as, unknown to me it was where he spent a lot of his childhood and knew the view well. I didn't know a card could bring so much pleasure but he has commented on it a lot. Thanks for bringing a smile to his face for memories past.  I visited your exhibition at The Watermark and  I love your pictures. When I eventually have a home of my own I will be visiting your site again and hope to buy some of your work which I think is stunning. I just wanted to show my appreciation even if I can't buy a print yet!

I saw an article in a local newspaper about your forthcoming Tavistock exhibition and that's what led me to your website, must have like the image printed and wondered how a Devonian would depict Devon! Your photographs are superb, they certainly capture the mood of Devon to me (non-native but a confirmed fan), and I think your 'non-tinkering' attitude is the correct one - to capture a moment in time on film, not manufacture a fictional one. The images capture the essence of things seen so well, things that I've seen myself but can't quite capture in a photograph.

As a user the website was well laid out and easy to use, with a lovely  home page statement, certainly about the best I've seen of photographers' websites. The only downside is that the photos appear as fairly small in the centre of the black background with no facility to enlarge them, but the scroll back and forth arrows are great and not always present on other sites. It would be nice to see the images larger, and of course 'for real', as they inevitably lose much on screen, but unfortunately I'm moving to Devon a few days after your show ends. You deserve to have great success with selling your prints, they are far more imaginative than the majority out there.

Which is to say, thank you for a glimpse of 'your Devon' and very good luck with your venture.
