"Bleak" - Harford Moor (Dartmoor), South Devon To get to this tree I went on a bit of a trek which took me out on to Dartmoor. The distance was probably only about 4-5 miles but it felt like a lot more. With one step I'd be sliding on ice, the next frozen uneven mud and the next I'd be up to my ankles in a bog. The original photo was in colour but it was such a bleak & grey day there was very little colour so it made sense to convert it to B&W which makes it more dramatic. Taken with a Sigma SD14 |

A Dusting of The Erme, South Devon This image was taken on the same day as the image above but at the beginning of my walk. Similar images to this were also taken with my Bronica ETRSi Medium Format Camera with a 35mm Wide back but as mentioned the whole film was a dud. It's a real shame as I had visualised what they would look like in the panoramic format. As some of you will know I prefer using film but the digital camera saved the day this time. This was also originally in colour but again I converted it to B&W due to the lack of colour in it.

Winter in Victoria Park, Ivybridge, South Devon I've been meaning to photograph this view at first light for sometime and eventually got round to it one cold winter morning. I first photographed this view in daylight and in the autumn which gave some great warm golden colours. This version, with the snow, low light, blue sky and bare trees, is a lot colder but at the same time welcoming. Taken with a Sigma SD14 |

Spooky Woods This is one of my experimental images. This effect can be done in post production but I like to achieve my images in camera. To achieve this image I placed my camera on a tripod and then panned downwards as the image was exposed. I quite like the effect and I'm sure it would look a lot better when printed on a heavy weight matt paper. Taken with a Sigma SD14 |

Abstract 20 As usual I'm not going to tell you what this is. All I'll say is what you see is what I photographed, there's no manipulation involved.
